Everyone has forgotten.
Including you.

Eruin is a single-player fantasy mystery RPG where you speak to characters in your own words. Wake in a kingdom that has forgotten itself, uncover fragments of its past, and navigate conversations that change what happens next. Speech recognition, dialogue, and character voices run locally on your PC.

Under a night that never ends, you wake without a name or a past. A guiding light leads you into a world of strangers with missing memories. The man at the town gate needs help. A witch has a bargain to offer. The questions you choose to ask become part of the adventure.

Eruin pairs an authored world, mystery, and quests with locally generated NPC dialogue. Speak through your microphone or type a reply: key characters respond in their own voices, remember important interactions, and react to the meaning of your words.

Key features

  • Your words, your approach. Ask questions, make promises, or try a different argument without choosing from a dialogue wheel.
  • Conversations have consequences. Help a stranded traveler, take on a witch’s riddles, and discover that becoming a frog is another playable predicament.
  • A mystery assembled through discovery. Recover authored memory fragments and follow the traces of a world that has forgotten its own story.
  • Local AI, an authored adventure. Speech recognition, dialogue generation, and character voices run on your machine. No cloud account or subscription is required to play.
